Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai is a great blend of modern city life, rural and tribal traditions. Known for its rich history, vibrant markets and beautiful mountains that surround the city. There's stunning waterfalls, local hill tribe villages and lots of trails to explore.
Part of local hill tribe communities identity is woven into the fabric of their culture, traditions and mountains. As they traverse the trails, they pass down stories, wisdom, and their connection to the land. There's 8 different tribes in Chiang Mai, We will be seeing some along the way.
From Chiang Mai we head to Chiang Dao, a small town located about an hour north of Chiang Mai. It's known for its relaxed atmosphere, surrounded by mountains and scenic countryside. It is an also know as the Last tooth of the Himalayas.
